Jenny Van Der Lande
Jenny is Big Talk’s Creative Director for Drama. She joined in 2024 from Bronte and Snowed-In where she led the editorial side from inception, and built the inaugural slate. She developed critical and commercial hits including six series of Strike, Mrs Wilson (BAFTA nominated), The Midwich Cuckoos, Too Close (BAFTA nominated), You Don’t Know Me (BAFTA nominated), Joan and Sky Atlantic’s upcoming Inheritance.
Before that, she developed London Spy (BAFTA nominated) and You, Me and the Apocalypse for Working Title TV. She trained at the BBC where she worked for over a decade – initially in development for BBC Drama Series and BBC Wales, and then onto Casualty where she worked on hundreds of hours of drama and was Series Editor on a BAFTA-winning run.
She has also worked as a freelance script consultant/script doctor and lives in Bristol.
