THOMASINA GIBSON
Thomasina Gibson is a freelance producer, director, journalist and author with 30 years experience in Film and TV production working with the BBC, SKY, C4, MGM International Television and Sony International Television.
Most recently she was Content Producer for the 40th Anniversary of Wildscreen in Bristol, hailed as one of the most successful in recent years and produced a short drama for SKY in conjunction with the BFI Network screened early 2024.
Passionate about getting great stories on screen she launched Heroes Productions Ltd in 2016. Her first independent family feature garnered 5* reviews at the EIFF, Film Bath and an “honourable mention” at the Dubai Film Festival.
Thomasina supports the British Film and Television industry globally via Pact’s Council and on their Content Without Borders advisory board. Thomasina sits on the board of the Women Over Fifty in Film Festival, BAFTA Cymru and BAFTA Children’s Award Juries and the Women in Film and Television/Netflix New Talent Awards jury.
